With a docket of over 100 motorcycles, H&H Classics is rounding out its 2016 auction year with a variety of classics, fully restored and even a handful of barn-finds at the Donington Park auction today in Derby, UK.
Increasingly, we hear that car enthusiasts are progressively more interested in motorcycles. Perhaps, but this year’s Monterey auctions didn’t necessarily feature a large number of motorcycle lots. However, Mecum and Gooding were two auction houses that offered motorcycles over the weekend.
The Vintage & Antique Auction presented by MidAmerica Motorcycles by Mecum Auctions – sponsored by State Farm – took place over two days, June 10 and 11, at the Schaumburg Renaissance Convention Center in Chicago. It was Mecum’s first Chicago motorcycle sale.
As you probably know, this week is the start of what has become known as Monterey car week. Everywhere you look, you will find classic cars on display, for sale at one of the five auctions, participating in rallies, and even parked at the local Denny’s restaurant.
